Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Brian P. Keyes is a graduate of the Industrial Design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has also studied Scandinavian furniture design in Copenhagen under the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. He is currently employed as an industrial designer at Blade HQ and lives in Salt Lake City, UT.
In 2016, Brian co-founded Ought Collective, a small design collective that believes amazing objects come from independent designers - the collective acts as a record label for independent design.
Brian enjoys long backpacks in the Uintas with his greyhound, Bonfire, getting scared on exposed rock climbs, and cooking seafood paella over a backyard fire.
